Falafel Waffles Or … Faffles?

Ingredients
  • 2 cans chickpeas (roasted)
  • 1/4 onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup parsley
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 pinch cardamom
  • 3/4 cup chickpea flour
  • 3/4 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tbsp aquafaba
  1.  Place all ingredients except for milk, aquafaba, and flour into food processor.  Pulse until thick crumble-y paste forms.
  2. Add milk, aquafaba, and flour and stir with rubber spatula until you achieve batter consistency.
  3. Ladle onto waffle iron on low temperature for 5-7 minutes until dark brown.
